Kurth Books

Welcome to Kurth Books. We aim to create a children's chapter book series where the story is the focus, not the disability. One filled with adventure for younger children but exciting enough for older struggling readers. Every child is important and should be represented in books. So let's get reading!

Zac's Mighty Wheels and The Giant Problem

If you had one wish, what would it be? When Zac finds a wishing well deep in the woods, he wishes for something powerful—the wheelchair of his dreams! To his surprise, he was about to begin the ride of a lifetime. What kid wouldn’t want rocket boosters, a robo-arm, and speed as fast as a cheetah?! But when the school bully finds the well too, disaster could be in store. Will Zac’s new Mighty Wheels be enough to stop the town from destruction?

Zac's Mighty Wheels and the Case of the Missing Grannies

Zac and his friends are back for another exciting adventure!

It seemed like a normal day—school, hanging out with friends, flying through the sky with Zac and his wheelchair—until the grandmas start disappearing. Luckily, Zac and his friends are on the case. Trying to find the person behind the mask leads them on a brave quest, but will they find their grandmas or will the masked person keep the grandmas to himself forever?
